Dr. Mehmet Gençtürk was born in 1986 in Karadeniz Ereğli and completed his secondary and high school education here. He studied medicine at the Istanbul Medical Faculty and graduated as a doctor of medicine in 2011. He then performed his compulsory service at Istanbul Tuzla Government Hospital. He participated in the Van Earthquake and was rewarded with a certificate of achievement. He got into the Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic with examination for specialty in medicine served here until 2017. After various experiences in private hospitals, he has been working in Istanbul Bariatric Surgery Clinic since 2019. Together with Hasan Erdem, he performs surgical and non-surgical procedures for the treatment of obesity. He is married and has three children.
