Balloon + Botox

The gastric balloon, based on the endoscopic placement of a silicone balloon that can inflate in the stomach, is a type of balloon that, as the name implies, remains in the body for a certain period of time (6 or 12 months).
The 6-month balloon remains in the stomach for 6 months without any changes. The 12-month balloon, on the other hand, allows for more controlled and effective weight loss, as its volume can be increased at 3-month intervals. In both the 6-month and 12-month balloons, the removal and inflation of the balloon is done by endoscopy. Thanks to the volume that the balloon occupies in the stomach, this process, which is intended to induce a long feeling of satiety and reduce food portions, is completed within 30 minutes.

This non-surgical weight loss method, called Botox plus balloon, is a special method that Dr. Mehmet Gençtürk uses on his patients. In this method, using both the effects of Botox and the balloon, more effective and controlled weight loss occurs and the side effects such as nausea and cramps that can be caused by the balloon are eliminated. In this procedure, botulinum toxin is first injected into the stomach muscles and then the gastric balloon treatment is performed.
